The Traveling Pink Spiral 2 – New Braunfels, TX

March 7, 2014

The Traveling Pink Spiral (click the link for video) followed me to New Braunfels, TX, where I taught Spiral Mandala Quilt workshops for a week at Quilting Adventures.  This class was my most advanced ever: I came prepared to teach the class with my usual set of mix-and-match templates, and instead they all said they wanted to design their own spiral mandala quilt from scratch!  So, I backed up my teaching materials to the very beginning and we dug in.  Their designs were gorgeous — click here to see their results.

Isn't this the cutest little bungalow -- love the porch and rocking chairs! It was home for me and the Pin Spiral in Texas!

Find the other pink spiral — and create your own spiral quilts — this fall at the Boise Basin Quilt Guild’s show, September 26-28, 2014 in Boise, Idaho.

(Sorry about the end of the video — still learning about how to edit!)

Happy quilting!
